WRITTEN ON 31st JANUARY, 2020

On the first day of the Reading week, Mrs. E. O. Balogun (Proprietress) introduced the theme of the Reading Week to the learners "READING ENERGIZES". She also used a video clip to illustrate to the learners the need to read stories regularly.

She explained to them some importance of reading:

  • Reading refreshes our brain
  • Reading helps us explore different places
  • The more you read, the more you learn.

QUOTES; The Proprietress used some quotes to explain further:

  • A BOOK IS A DREAM YOU HOLD IN YOUR HANDS
  • THERE IS NO FRIEND AS LOYAL AS  A BOOK
  • BOOKS TRAIN YOUR IMAGINATION TO THINK BIG

Learners picked books from the Book-stand to read and review the stories.
